Best time to visit Royal Island Maldives?

Hi,
We are looking to go to the Royal Island Maldives Resort and are trying to figure out the best time to go? We get married in July so would prefer a bit later in the year. We were thinking December but reviews I have read have said the rain sets in on that Royal island in Dec?
