Honeymoon in Maldives during september - Weather in Maldives

Hi there,
I am really concerned and worried since i am planning to spend my honeymoon in Maldives starting the 20th of September but I heard that it might rain. How is the weather usually during this period of the year? Does it rain so much? Will this ruin my honeymoon in Maldives?
