We went to the Maldives last year in the middle of May (Four Seasons Kuda Huura in the North Male Atoll). We stayed 5 days and did not have a single day of rain. The weather was lovely and it was not windy at all. At times, the staff were worried about whether the sea would get choppy in relation to the dolphin cruise or snorkelling but this never happened. However, I believe that there was a storm the day before we arrived.
